Stealing Henry

I just started this book and was wonderig about the name. I'm guessing now that because the main character ran from her step fathers house. She took her little brother Henry with her. I'm pretty sure that this girl, Savana, is supposed to be in college because she was talking about how her, I guess you could call it her boyfriend, went to college. She ran away from her house. I wonder where her mom is because she said er mom gave her money that morning. Hmmmmm.

    I agree with Claudette, good inferring! I am curious about your last statement, do you think her mom gave Savana money to run away?

    I WAS reading the book "Stealing Henry". (I finished it that night) and I really dont know. Her mom didnt sound like she wanted savanna to run away but its pretty much exactly what she did when she was about her age.
