wow. wow wow wow wow wow. strange book. a girl named gratuity quite literally saves the world from a bunch of aliens called gorgs. im not much of an alien type, but this book was AMAZING. at first gratuitys mom has some type of tracker placed on the back of her neck. an alien race called the Boov come and take her away to help them learn the english language (though we dont figure this out till later) the boov order all americans to florida Most people get there by a teleporter machine. gratuity decides to drive there even thought she is only 11. Turns out that the Boov liked Florida and relocated the americans to arizona. Gratuity doesnt know this. on the way to florida she meets a boov, who because no human can pronounce his Boov name, is named J.Lo.They drive to arizona and meet a bunch of people along the way and was just a REALLy good book. at the end though, this guy named Daniel Landry tells everyone it was him who saved the world. Gratuity tells you about how the press now follow him EVERYWHERE and report his every move. She says that she really doesnt mind that people dont know that it was her. Because shes only eleven and she SAVED THE WORLD. Not ever again will she do something as great. never. She still has ALOT of time to live. O i forgot to mention that this book was written as a time capsule. anyway. its true. she saved the world and will never ever ever do something even close to something as great as that. i was wondering what i would do if i were in that situation. I would probably say that I did save the world without thinking about it, and regret it later. maybe.
