No way! That's the reason the dad is digging up the front yard! He's making a fallout center shelter! He's was alive during world war 2 and was worried about them dropping more bombs in the Vietnam war like the german did in WW2! It just goes to show you what war does to people. Makes them paranoid. All they can think about is building extra precautions because their afraid that whatever happened in the first war. It's just sad.

Ok wow. " Creepy Clolvig " the neighborhoods well, you can probably guess by his name. But he's that old man that lives in the neighborhood and smells funny, he's scary and people avoid him cause he's downright mean. The two brothers, Danny, the younger brother and main character, and his older brother Beau. Anyway, they had picked up glass bottles and turned them in for money. With that money they each bought about 2 handfuls of candy each! They only turned in six bottles! Now a days you pick up a couple of tin cans and get ten cents for each! 60 cents is how what they got! Not nearly enough for handfuls of candy in the 21 century! It's either candy costs alot more now, or glass bottles are alot less expensive then they were 30 years ago! Well the two brothers took the cart they had collected in to a hill. Danny jumped in with the 6 bottles that weren't accepted and tire downhill. He couldn't stop, he just kept going and he made it across the bridge, up the hill, and started heading. Straight for the Colvig house! Then " by some miracle" the cart tipped over and he fell to the ground. His brother ran up and started raving about how Danny was the first person to cross the bridge and go up the hill. Danny not thinking about what he was doing, took a glass bottle and threw it up in the air and when it fell, watched it shatter. A million tiny glass shards catching the light. I can't even begin to imagine just how wonderful that would look, but it must be stunning.

The Year Of The Hangman
So year of the hangman. All about what would happen if we DIDN'T win the revolutionary war. Creighton is the name of the main character. I can't believe it. When this boy was 11 he went to see his first hanging. He and his friends skipped school to see it! They said they saw small children there! That's just wrong. He's 15 sneaking out t gamble at a pub. Dnt these men realize this boy shouldn't be out this late GAMBLING!!! I mean come on!

The Who
That's hilarious!!! You had Pete Townshend the guitarist smashing his guitar in the walls, Roger Daltrey the singer swinging his mic like a lasso, and Kieth Moon the crazy drummer just going absolutely berserk on the drums, while our bassist John Entwisle stood there with no expression or motion except for his fingers. Its talking about the whole process of replacing band members during The Who's early years. What happens when a band becomes famous and the guitarist despises the drummer? Every member of a rock band is crucial to it's music, if you didn't have a singer no lyrics, no guitar no electryfing cords being played etc. You can't get rid of a member when your famous because the fans that had always said that member was there favorite, would no longer be a fan. I guess they had to just deal with it.

Bob Dylan
Ok well I'm reading about Bob Dylan. I'm wondering if there going to mention his song " Blowin in the wind" I am in love with that song! It's just so beautiful. Bob Dylans original name was Bob Zimmerman? Intresting. It seems like all the greatest rock icons started off in a highschool rock band. John Lennon was in one with Paul Mcartney and later on George Harrison. After Ringo Starr joined they became one of the most famous bands in the world! The Beatles! Bob Dylan quit college to become a full time musician. typical.
